M. Tech. or M. E. Courses in U V C E

The University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, popularly known as U.V.C.E., is one of the most prestigious colleges in the State. The college was established in the year 1917, by none other than the greatest Engineer-Statesman of modern times, Bharata Rathna Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

On the formation of Bangalore University in 1964, UVCE became one of the constituent colleges of Bangalore University. This prestigious technical institute imparts technical education leading to Bachelors of Engineering, Masters of Engineering, Masters of Science in Engineering degrees & Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs across disciplines in Engineering & Architecture. UVCE has since completed over 93 years of academic excellence since its inception. The college operates out of two premises in Bengaluru – Jnana Bharathi campus & KR Circle campus.

In the year 2008 by the work of Principal Dr. Venugopal K R UVCE has got 10+ Post-graduate programs. This degeree programs will definitely help to decrease the demand for Faculty Positions in various Engineering Colleges in Karanataka and Accross the Country India and also helping the Graduate students to persue their Masters in various New course streams. I am also benifited by these new courses in 2008.

BMTC Bus Routes, Bus Numbers, Bangalore.

BMTC- Stands for Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation, is the only means of transporatation which covers entire city.

From last 4 months it has started a concept called Bus Day, on 4th of every month. This kind of things may avoid Traffic a little bit, but definitely  needs a co-operations from the people who travel in and around the city on that day.
BMTC has one among the top BUS Service in the country, but still has got lot of loop holes to fill.
I will keep posting my 6 years Experience with BMTC under the above title.

New K Series buses from BMTC, these buses are very useful if you have a long journey in city every day without catching any other bus and to reach with minimal traffic. The route chosen by this buses are all minimal congested areas and wont connect to Mejestic/Market which are heavy congested points in the city. Since these are all new buses, many people not aware of their timings and routes information's.

These K series buses routes are very long and K2 bus takes 1.30 mins to reach Mejestic and taking 2-3 buses to reach from Hebbal to satallite town bus stand. without much traffic which is very good especially in the evening time so that we can avoid going to Me. we can find buses every half an hour, you can see the timings of each bus of K2 in hebbal bus stand which is under hebbal bridge.

IBM Z/OS

I started with IBM Mainframes on Z/OS as an Application Developer. I quitted UNISYS a few weeks ago. IBM Mainframes and maeterials are cool going compared to UNISYS.

This is my first ISPF screen to Z/OS.
As of now i feel its good to see black and white ISPF screen which do less harm compared to color full windows.
